On the 22nd and 23rd October 2018, JusGov hosts a training session in the framework of its cooperation protocol with the International Association of Constitutionalism, Transnationality and Sustainability (AICTS), of the University of Vale do Itajaí (UNIVALI).
Portuguese and Brazilian researchers will discuss topics related to Jurisdictional issues, in light of Democracy and Constitutionalism. In this seminar many issues will be addressed, such as “Multilevel Jurisdiction”, “Limits to Judicial Activism in the Face of the Democracy’s Crisis”, “Challenges to State Constitutional Autonomy by the International Criminal Jurisdiction”, “Economic Democracy in the Age of Digital Economy: The fundamental duty of democratic participation”, ” Constitutional hermeneutics and humanism: new challenges for constitutionalism in the 21st century”, “Legal aid and effective judicial protection – the theory of inter-constitutionality in practice”.
