Publications

The Centre is committed to fulfilling the Open Access Policies. The open availability of research results using public funding has significant social and economic benefits. In line with what has been increasingly adopted by public R & D funding agencies in other countries and with the recommendations of the European Commission, the Centre adopts this policy to make  the publications of the financed projects available in Open Access. In other words, the unrestricted access to publications from R & D projects is financed entirely or at least partially by FCT. The publications are subject to review or scientific validation processes, including formal processes peer review. Any user must be able have unlimited and unrestricted access to the content of these scientific publications in electronic format at no cost. The publications and their contents in open access should be available for search and reuse, either manually or through another resourse.
