An international selection tender is now open, until April 11th 2019, for recruitment in the form of an uncertain term contract concluded under the Portuguese Labour Code, of one doctoral position for the exercise of scientific research activities in the scientific areas of Anthropology, Sociology, or related areas, under the framework of the research project InclusiveCourts – Equality and cultural difference in the practice of Portuguese courts: Challenges and opportunities for an inclusive society, Ref. 28229, funded by national funds through FCT/MCTES (PIDDAC).
Any national, foreign or stateless candidate holding a doctoral degree in Anthropology, Sociology or other related scientific areas and a scientific and professional curriculum vitae indicative of a profile suitable to the activities to be developed can submit his/her application.
For the purpose of determining the profile appropriate to the activities to be developed, specific requirements are:
- Publications in the scientific areas of the competition;
- Proven experience in fieldwork and in the use of ethnographic research methods;
- Proficiency in Portuguese.

Applications are invited, until October 31th 2018, for a research assistant position to be part of the FCT/MCTES (PIDDAC) funded project InclusiveCourts – Equality and cultural difference in the practice of Portuguese courts: Challenges and opportunities for an inclusive society.
Applicants should have a Master degree in Human Rights, Judicial Law, or a related field, with a final grade of at least 16/20. Prior research experience in the abovementioned fields is also required. Enrolment in a PhD programme is highly desirable.
