This work presents a comprehensive and updated overview of the relationship between Law and Sustainability, bringing together texts by experts in various areas of Law, who express, in a very summarized way, some of their reflections on the legal challenges included in the United Nations 2030 Agenda. This collective work reflects the interdisciplinary policy of the research that is developed here, as well as the desire to promote Portuguese as a language of science, bringing together texts by Portuguese and Brazilian professors who, in the context of human and social development in an environmentally sustainable way, define the priorities and aspirations of global sustainable development for 2030, aiming at the full realization of all human rights and fundamental freedoms. The coordinators of this publication are grateful for the availability shown by Colleagues from the Law Faculties of Mackenzie Presbyterian University (S. Paulo), Londrina University, Porto University and the Law School of the University of Minho to participate in this initiative.
