EI – School of Researchers
At JusGov, we are committed to contributing to the scientific initiation, training, and fulfilment of student researchers. The EI aims at helping them to develop their research skills and achieve a higher level of well-being and overall quality of life. Our activities aim at bringing students to share their research, stimulating dialogue, and mutual growth. The EI provides a bridge between emerging and established researchers, brings students together with all our Groups, and is highly active in finding and disseminating research opportunities.
At all times supported and inspired by tenured scholars, the members of this Group are guided by excellence in publishing research and taking the lead in the organisation of events that are scientifically meaningful and have an impact on society. Enabling the next waves of researchers and practitioners to flourish and serving as a hub for intellectual fruition and career building, the EI provides an interface combining the cross-cutting aspects of scholarly duty, scientific know-how, professional practice, and intergenerational collaboration and understanding.
Encouraging interdisciplinarity in the examination of matters of justice and governance, the EI favours all approaches that address relevant contemporary issues while standing for the dignity, safety, and welfare of all people; advocating international responsibility for the environment, fairness, and peace; as well as championing the primacy of research ethics, freedom, and openness. At JusGov, we believe that great research means all round excellent science: not just accessible, logically sound and well-communicated, but also ethically irreproachable. Only in this way can the scientific community have a constructive impact on the world, beyond the purely theoretical and technical dimensions, and all of us at the EI are fully in tune with such an ethos.
