How to understand the chaos that took over administrative entities at the end of May 2018: Panic or use of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of the 27th of April 2016?
This event will reflect on the question of how Public Administrations should behave as responsible for the processing of personal data in face of new national legislation that implements the GDPR, despite the CRP and LADA.
In fact, if, on the one hand, the European regulation aims to protect persons regarding their personal data processing and the free movement of such data, it is also true that there is a normative framework, with a national matrix, that strengthens transparency and citizens’ access to administrative information, whenever access to administrative records proves to be useful.
The theme reveals the long-awaited difficulties of the Public Administration in face of a new administrative law.
