The School of Law of the University of Minho will hold the seventh edition of the International Conference Law in Lusophone Countries.

After a first edition held in 2014, in Portugal, the following editions were organized in consecutive years in Angola, Brazil and Portugal, always with remarkable success.

The School of Law of the University of Minho and the Research Centre for Justice and Governance (JusGov) have the honour to announce that they are resuming the organization of the seventh edition of the International Conference Law in Lusophone Countries, to be held on the 7th and 8th of May 2020.

This seventh edition aims to encourage reflection on the problem of the application of law, in its multiple dimensions, being subordinated to the theme Saying the Law: the role of Courts in the 21th century. As in previous editions, it is intended to highlight the links with research and educational projects of other countries that share a cultural, linguistic and legal heritage that is an important factor in our identity.

We are waiting for you!
