As part of the “Law and the Performing Arts” project, another workshop will be held on November 8 at the University of Minho, this time dedicated to Trademarks of performances and titles of works.
This event will feature the intervention of Prof. Maria Miguel Carvalho (Associate Professor with Aggregation at the University of Minho Law School and Integrated Researcher at the Justice and Governance Research Center) and Dr. Ana Miguel Neto Ferreira (Associate Professor with Aggregation at the University of Minho Law School and Integrated Researcher at the Justice and Governance Research Center). Ana Miguel Neto Ferreira (Master’s student in Contracts and Company Law), who will encourage reflection on entertainment trademarks, based on the “Rock in Rio Febras” case, and Ana Maria Pereira da Silva, a lawyer specializing in Intellectual Property Law, who will address the issue of registering titles of works as trademarks.
