ARTIFICIAL JUSTICE – Trailer

By Simón Casal

With Verónica Echegui, Alberto Ammann, Tamar Novas, Alba Galocha, Lúcia Moniz and Afonso Pimentel

Synopsis:

Would you accept being judged by AI?

The Spanish government announces a referendum to approve a system of Artificial Intelligence (THENTE) in the Administration of Justice that promises to automate and depoliticize justice, in practice replacing judges in all the country’s courts. The referendum has triggered a fierce electoral campaign in which the government, in alliance with the technology company that created the system, and the judiciary, which defends the human nature of justice, are pitted against each other. Carmen Costa, a renowned judge, is invited to work on the development of the THENTE project, but the sudden disappearance of Alicia Kóvack, the creator of the system, causes her to become very suspicious, to the point where she realizes that she is discovering the tip of the iceberg of a conspiracy that aims to control an entire country from the justice system.
