Alexandra Araújo, an integrated member of the CEDU, was invited to work in the Graduate Program in Legal Sciences of the University Center of Maringá – UNICESUMAR (Maringá / Paraná / Brazil), within the framework of the National (Brazilian) Postdoctoral Program CAPES ( PNPD / CAPES-2013). The postdoctoral fellowship starts in May 2014, with an expected duration of 12 months, renewable annually up to the limit of 60 months. The researcher will develop a project on the transfer of personal data to third countries or international organizations in light of European Union law.
In the context of this partnership, Alessandra Silveira, Director of CEDU, gave a Class of Excellence entitled “Fundamental Rights, Integration and Crisis: A European Redemption Mechanism for Fundamental Rights.” The mentioned class, taught to the students of the Postgraduate Program in Legal Sciences of UNICESUMAR, took place in the city of Maringá / Paraná / Brazil, on May 10, 2014
