SuCCESS: Strengthening Criminology Teaching Through Cooperation Among European and South American Universities

SuCCESS aimed at strengthening the South American teachers and researchers capacity and body of knowledge to develop and improve higher educational offers in the areas of criminology and public safety through the sharing of experience, knowledge and competences from European Universities (Portugal and Spain) and South American Universities (Brazil, Colombia, Peru).

The project came to a close at the beginning of January 2024, with MA programmes having been created in all the South American institutions involved as the first step towards the creation of Criminology degrees along the lines of the project.

Also of note was the research component of SuCCESS, which resulted in numerous seminars, conferences, and other such events, and culminated in the creation of the Euro-Sudamerican Criminology Network.
