On 26 May, between 11h-13h, in room CP2 307, CEDU held an open competition law seminar with the current Portuguese magistrate at the General Court (including the Court of Justice of the European Union, Luxembourg), Mrs. Maria José Costeira, on the topic “Critical perspective on transposing the private enforcement directive”. The main concerns regarding the transposition of Directive 2014/104 / EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 November 2014 on certain rules governing actions for damages under national law competition law of the Member States and the European Union. After the presentation of the guest, there was a debate involving researchers from CEDU and masters in European Union Law of EDUM.
