The Law Faculty of Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique, together with the Research Network on Portuguese-Speaking Law (REDIL), as well as the Research Centre for Justice and Governance (JusGov), of the Law School of the University of Minho, with the support of FCT, announces the call for papers submission, presentation and publication of papers at the 9th International Congress on Law in Lusophony, which will take place between 20 and 23 September 2023, at the Eduardo Mondlane University, Maputo, Mozambique, according to the program to be disclosed.

This ninth edition aims to promote reflection on the problem of the application of law, in its multiple dimensions, under the theme “Governance, Justice and Sustainable Development”. As in previous editions, we intend to highlight the links with research and teaching projects from other countries that share a cultural, linguistic and legal heritage with us.

We invite the entire Lusophone legal community to participate by sending paper proposals to the email 9congressodireitolusofonia@gmail.com containing the title, abstract of up to 500 words, up to 5 keywords, identification, institutional affiliation and academic degree of the author(s), until June 30, 2023. The final programme will be released from 15 July 2023.
