Our researcher Teresa Coelho Moreira is taking part, in October 2025, in three international meetings of great relevance in the field of Labour Law. Representing JusGov, she took part in the 15th International Congress on Labour and Procedural Law of the Brazilian Academy of Labour Law and the 9th Ibero-American Conference of the Ibero-American Academy of Labour and Social Security Law, held in São Paulo from 1 to 3 October, where she addressed the topic “Data Protection and Social Networks in Labour Relations”. Subsequently, Teresa Coelho Moreira participated in the International Congress on Constitutional Labour Law, organised by the Regional Labour Court of Paraíba as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations, which took place in João Pessoa on 9 and 10 October, presenting a paper entitled “Platform Work and the Crisis of Legal Subordination: Where Does Autonomy End?”.
Later this month, Teresa Coelho Moreira will partake in the Scientific Conference Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the National Independence of Angola, hosted by the Supreme Court of Angola from 14 to 17 October, dedicated to the theme “Institutional Transformations and Judicial Reforms Throughout 50 Years of National Independence”. Our researcher’s contribution will focus on “Digital Platforms Work”.
The participation of our researcher in three prestigious international events reaffirms the central role of the JusGov community in the production and dissemination of transnational legal knowledge. These engagements further strengthen JusGov’s commitment to contemporary debates on labour, technology, and fundamental rights, while consolidating the international, interdisciplinary, and public engagement vocation of our Centre. As a result of activities like these, JusGov maintains its leading role in global discussions on labour and institutional transformations in today’s world.
