Manuel Valente, JusGov researcher, is part of the organising committee for the 1st Annual Conference on Intergenerational Justice, organised by IFILNOVA, at NOVA University of Lisbon, on December 15th and 16th.
Keynote Speakers: Anca Gheaus (Central European University) and Axel Gosseries (Catholic University of Louvain).
We encourage the submission of abstracts (maximum 300 words, in English or Portuguese) and panel proposals (maximum 6 people). The conference will be entirely in-person.
Submissions may focus on any topic related to intergenerational justice, including (but not limited to) the following:
– Justice between nonsuperimposed generations;
– Justice between age groups;
– Intergenerational challenges to democracy;
– Generational sovereignty;
– Demographic ageing;
– Climate justice.
