JusGov takes a place of full prominence in the latest issue of Perspetiva Atual, published in October and distributed in Portugal nationwide, free of charge, with the weekly newspaper Semanário Sol. The 41st issue of Perspetiva Atual, dedicated to scientific research in Portugal, brings together some of the country’s most relevant R&D Units, highlighting JusGov’s position at the forefront of the national legal-academic landscape.
The issue opens precisely with an extensive interview with the Director of JusGov, Professor Flávia Noversa Loureiro, who outlines the key role of our Centre in transforming the current interdisciplinary landscape of legal studies and in translating research outcomes into concrete solutions to challenges that transcend the boundaries of academia. The interview places particular emphasis on the work carried out within each of the Centre’s seven Research Groups, as well as on the vitality of the JusGov community—a leading scientific community comprising more than two hundred active researchers.
JusGov’s significant presence in this issue of Perspetiva Atual attests to the firm standing of our Centre in the public sphere. More than a sign of recognition, this feature reflects the reality of JusGov as a hub of acknowledged scientific excellence that combines high academic standards with an ethos of commitment and engaged participation, envisioning a future in which society’s access to high-quality information, open access, and an unerring sense of humanity in the domains of justice and governance is effectively guaranteed.
