From 3rd to 6th February 2025, Auditorium 1 at the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (UAL) hosted the III International Scientific Meeting: Criminal Justice Systems in the Digital Age.
The scientific coordination was entrusted to the researchers from JusGov, Manuel Monteiro Guedes Valente, Mário Ferreira Monte, Nereu José Giacomolli, and Dr. Stefano Ruggeri (UMessina), with the adjunct scientific coordination including, among others, the researcher from JusGov, Emanuel Carvalho.The Meeting encompassed the research and development lines of JusGov, Ratio Legis – Research and Development Centre at UAL, the Law School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS), and the research project of the Faculty of Law at the University of Messina (UMessina).
The speakers presented communications that enabled the analysis and productive debate of legal, political-criminal, and criminological issues, including topics such as regulation, criminalisation, and criminal procedure in the digital context.
