The first edition of the International Seminar “Cybersecurity, cybercrime and transnational organized crime” was held in Braga and Brasilia in 2022. The event was, by all accounts, very fruitful. So much so that, two years later, the organizers decided to hold a second edition.
On April 22 and 23, 2024, the 2nd stage of the 2nd Seminar will be held at the University of Minho Law School.
The event is jointly organized by the School of Public Prosecutions and the University of Minho School of Law/JusGov(JusCrim) and will feature a number of criminal law experts who will address the growing challenges of cybersecurity and cybercrime that have marked the daily lives of today’s societies.
Not only will the work of 2022 be continued, but some of the issues that have been raised in this highly topical subject will also be explored in greater depth.
Attendance will be in person and subject to prior registration.
