On 28 January 2026, the second session of the Cycle of Decentralized Conversations on Data Protection will take place, this time in partnership with the Local Health Unit of Santo António, with the purpose of marking European Data Protection Day.
In addition to its commemorative nature, this session aims to foster reflection and debate on a range of issues that challenge us across multiple scientific domains and in our social life, and which intersect with the fields of privacy and personal data protection. These issues call for broad discussion, bringing together figures from different areas of knowledge — academia, institutions, and civil society — so that the debate may be genuinely plural.
All interested parties are invited to take part in this decentralised and informal conversation on the intersections between personal data protection and Artificial Intelligence, Data Governance, the European Health Data Space (EHDS), as well as Neuroprivacy and Neurorights.
