The School of Law of the University of Minho, with the assistance of the Research Centre for Justice and Governance has been promoting the development of research in Legal Sciences, in three areas: General Legal Sciences, Private Legal Sciences and Public Legal Sciences. At the same time, it has focused on internationalization, institutional cooperation for research, in order to create research networks.

For the third year the School of Law of the University of Minho invites doctoral students, PhDs and postdoctoral researchers to present a research topic through an expanded abstract.

The purpose of the Meeting is to discuss the state of the art of legal research currently under development in research centres, by publishing the expanded abstracts in an e-book format.
