Bruno Reynaud de Sousa, JusGov researcher in space law and policy, recently contributed his expertise and insights at two significant international events dedicated to space governance and exploration.
On 11 March, the researcher was prominently featured at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) event titled “The Future of Space Policy,” where he provided perspectives on emerging trends and strategic implications for international cooperation in space exploration. His insights underscored key areas of policy evolution, including sustainability, security, and governance frameworks crucial for a stable and cooperative space environment.
Additionally, on 12 March he participated as a speaker in a virtual book talk hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), discussing the recently published “Routledge Handbook of Space Policy.” Organized by the CSIS Aerospace Security Project, the event gathered leading scholars and practitioners to debate contemporary challenges, strategies, and future trajectories of space policy, with the researcher highlighting critical security and policy considerations shaping today’s global space agenda. The participation in both events was supported by FCT.
