It is with great satisfaction that the E-Tec research group launches its eighth Yearbook. The 2025 edition of the Yearbook maintains the editorial approach of previous issues, welcoming all topics related to E-Tec’s core themes (Industry 4.0; Space Law and Policy; Artificial Intelligence and Robotics; New Disruptive Technological Areas for Law; and Public and Corporate Governance), giving rise to the exploration of various legal issues that emerge from technological innovations in these areas. Thus, this volume includes very interesting and diverse texts, continuing to highlight the interdisciplinary vocation of JusGov in general and E-Tec in particular. We find texts on deepfakes and the protection of sexual self-determination; on the use of Artificial Intelligence in hiring, evaluations and dismissals; on data governance; on the protection of the elderly and the rights of people with disabilities in the digital age; informed consent and Artificial Intelligence; Blockchain in Public Administration; Neuro-rights, etc..
