For the first time in human history, we are confronted with digital technologies capable of learning and making autonomous decisions, thereby posing unprecedented challenges to the legal sciences. It is in this context that, on 27–28 November, the III Ibero-American Congress on Law and Digital Technologies will take place, under the theme “Challenges of AI Regulation in the EU”.
In this third edition, organised by JusGov – Research Centre for Justice and Governance and the CitDig – Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on Digital Citizenship and Technological Sustainability, a range of topics will be addressed, including:
▸ General-purpose AI
▸ Prohibited uses of AI and civil liability
▸ High-risk AI and transparency obligations
▸ AI, digital citizenship, and technological sustainability
