JusGov researcher Rossana Martingo Cruz, together with Lurdes Varregoso Mesquita, has recently launched the book Jurisdiction of the Portuguese Public Prossecutor’s Office and Civil Registry Offices.
As a result of the collaboration of a range of authors who engage in different spheres of the legal and judicial realm and who have experience regarding the jurisdiction of the Portuguese Public Prosecutor’s Office and Civil Registry Offices, this book brings together annotations to Decree-Law 272/2001 of October 13. This legal document led to a paradigm shift that still sparks important theoretical and practical questions which are examined here with the aim of supporting practitioners and others who have an interest in this subject.
