An English translation of a significant part of the Portuguese Tax Procedure Code, conducted by Anabela Ribeiro, master student in Multilingual Translation and Communication at University of Minho, is now available. Such translation was supervised by JusGov’s researcher Joaquim Freitas da Rocha and was concluded on the context of a partnership between the Institute of Arts and Humanities (ILCH), the School of Law, the Directorate-General for Translation (DGT) and the Tax and Customs Authority (TA).

This scientific work represents a very relevant tool, since it gives an answer to a constant request made by foreign economic agents operating in Portugal and by the partners of Portugal in the European Union.

The partial translation of the Portuguese Tax Procedure Code is available at TA’s website, on the following link.
