The V Meeting of the Thematic Section on “Sociology of Law and Justice” of the APS took place at the University of Maia on May 16th and 17th, 2024. The event was co-organized by the University of Maia (UMAIA), the Research Unit in Criminology and Behavioral Sciences (UICCC), and the Research Centre for Justice and Governance (JusGov). This is a multi- and interdisciplinary event designed to reflect the theme of the Meeting: Rights, Violence, and the Justice System.
