Synopsis This book collects the communications presented at the first edition of Law in Lusophony held at the University of Minho Law School in February 2014, brought together a group of jurists from Portuguese-speaking countries. The thematic project of the works was purposely designed in a broad and transversal way, with the organizers sought to encompass topics that were ubiquitous at the beginning of the 21st century: Law, language and culture; The protection of Human Rights; Law and globalization; Transnationality, governance and security.
