In this context, the main aim of the present edition has been to update the work in light of intervening case law and legislative developments. It should be noted that this new edition cites more than two thousand eight hundred judgments of the superior courts, thereby deliberately conferring upon the work not only a theoretical dimension, but also a strong practical orientation. It is therefore hoped, insofar as possible, that this work will continue to serve as a valuable instrument for the study, interpretation, and application of civil enforcement procedural law.
