Synopsis This is an edition of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (CDFUE), organized in the field of the Center of Studies for European Union Law (CEDU) of the University of Minho, corresponding to a pioneering initiative in Portuguese language. In order to pursue this design, and following the most commensurate comparative experience, as Coordinators decided to share the burden with several commentators of recognized scientific knowledge (with varying ages, inclinations and worldviews), an end that could reproduce a diversity (intersubjective and intergenerational) of the European project in which we are inserted. All comments of the CDFUE articles were produced by Coordinators, the result is certainly more homogeneous – yet less rich and perhaps monocordic.
