Project Description
Open Lecture “Alternative Institutes to Wills” | May 4th
The existence of an imperative legitimary succession, along with the rule prohibiting inheritance pacts, limiting private autonomy and the freedom of disposition of assets by the owner, ends up encouraging the existence of certain attributions of property similar to the statutes of will or testamentary , but which do not qualify as succession business.
In this way, we intend to analyze these alternative institutes and their legal regime on May 4 with the Open Class “Alternative Institutes to the Testament”. The meeting counts on the presence of Prof. Dr. Daniel Morais, with the scientific coordination of Prof. Cristina Dias and Prof. Rossana Cruz. The Class will be held at 2.30 pm in room 2.39 at the School of Law of the University of Minho.
