Ewoud Hondius, Christiane Wendehorst, Pablo Salvador Coderch, Andrea Nicolussi, Fryderyk Zoll and JusGov’s researcher Marta Santos Silva are editing a law book entitled Corona and the Law. The aims of this book are twofold. The book is intended to serve as a “toolbox” for domestic and European judges. These will soon be dealing with the interpretation of coronavirus- and COVID19-related legislation and administrative measures, as well as the disruption the pandemic has caused on society and fundamental rights. Additionally, this book is aimed at assisting businesses and citizens, who wish to be informed about the implications of the virus in the existence, performance, and enforcement of their contracts.

This large academic endeavour, which is planned to have approximately 60 chapters from reputed scholars all over Europe, will serve as an “atlas of the law” in Europe.
