Mário Ferreira Monte and Pedro Jacob Morais, Professors of the Law School and integrated members of JusGov (JusCrim Group), were in Luanda during the week of 6 to 10 March, on the occasion of the magistrates’ training course promoted by the Attorney General’s Office and the Angolan Military Prosecutor’s Office.
They were received at the Constitutional Court of Angola, by the President, Mrs. Laurinda dos Prazeres and, in the plenary courtroom, by the Honourable Counselors of that Court. They visited the Court facilities, namely the Library and the electoral litigation section. The future cooperation within the International Research Network on Lusophone Law (REDIL), of which Dr. Mário Ferreira Monte is coordinator, was discussed, with a view to the creation and/or dissemination of jurisprudence databases from Portuguese-speaking countries, in articulation with JusGov, and of commentaries on selected jurisprudence from Portuguese-speaking countries, beginning with constitutional jurisprudence.
