JusGov’s Director, Professor Patrícia Jerónimo, and junior researcher Ana Maria Rodrigues were invited by the President of the Guimarães’ Court of Appeal, Justice Raquel Rego, to speak at a conference organized by the Court to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 40th anniversary of Portugal’s accession to the European Convention on Human Rights. Patrícia Jerónimo will  present  the  project “Equality and cultural difference in the practice of Portuguese courts: Challenges and opportunities for an inclusive society”. Ana Maria Rodrigues will give a presentation on the “Protection of migrant children – human rights implications in administrative and judicial practice”.

This conference will take place on December 6, at 2:30 p.m., at the headquarters of the Guimarães’  Court of Appeal.
