The Supreme Court of Justice has released the Digital Book of the XIII Labour Law Colloquium – Agenda for Decent Work, held on 19 October 2023. This publication, part of the Supreme Court’s Digital Book Collection, brings together the contributions of judges, academics, and specialists who participated in the event.

Among the noteworthy contributions is the analysis by Professor Maria Irene Gomes, a researcher at JusGov, focusing on the legislative changes introduced by Law No. 13/2023 of 3 April, regarding the fixed-term employment contract regime. These changes address, in particular, the formal requirements of contracts, very short-term contracts, rules on contract succession, employers’ information duties, and the increase in compensation owed to workers.
