I am a lawyer with an interdisciplinary research experience in legal and computer science. In my research, I explore, in a legally oriented perspective, the application of ICT towards improving the quality and accessibility of the legal information and towards integrating ICT into the lawwork. I have a particular concern of creating genuine socio-economical impact from research findings. I hold a Joint PhD title in Law, Science and Technology and in Computer Science, and a Master Degree in Contract and Business Law. Working experience in different international frameworks: 6 years as a legal advisor in Porto-Portugal (Portuguese Association for Consumer Protection), 6 months in the Univ. of Turin, 6 months in the Univ. of Bologna, Italy, 9 months in the Univ. of Barcelona (IDT-UAB), more than one year in the Univ. of Luxembourg.
