DESCRIPTION:Supreme Court of Justice (STJ) Judge José Luís Lopes da Mota\, who has drafted several rulings on metadata\, will speak about this issue in an open class format\, analyzing recent case law and the issues that arise in relation to the right to the protection of personal data\, confidentiality and security in the context of criminal investigations and\, in particular\, evidence obtained through metadata and its subsequent use in the context of criminal proceedings before the courts.\nThe event\, under the scientific coordination of researcher Dr. Gema Souto\, will take place on April 29th in the Law School Hall (EDUM) at 2:30pm\, and will be organized by JusGov (Juslab). \n
