Remand in custody does not operate on certainty, but on the architecture of risk. When the notorium replaces proof and social perception turns into legal dogma, criminal justice becomes a tool for anxiety management. This workshop, led by Geraldo Prado, dismantles the methodological gears behind procedural risk, questioning the ways the justice system constructs, legitimises, and preempts its own intervention.
