Performing arts (or live arts) are those whose purpose is the presentation of a work before an audience, such as music, dance, theatre or circus arts. The digitalisation of social and cultural life has been driving the gradual transition of these practices into digital environments.
On the 21st of April, the debate “Dissemination of Artistic Performances Through Social Media” will take place, aiming to discuss the suitability of the related rights regime applicable to performers and producers of phonograms and videograms, in the context of protecting performances created and broadcast on social media.
📍 Online, April 21, 5 p.m. (you will receive the Zoom link on the day of the session via the email provided during registration)
