On December 7^th, a conference will be held on the Administrative Decentralization Law (No. 50/2018), at the Law School of the University of Minho. This event will be of the utmost importance to discuss the issue of administrative decentralization now in progress, seeking to assess Dos and Dont’s of the transfer of power of the State to Local Authorities and to determine if this movement will translate into a strengthening of Local Power or will require an effort of Local Authorities.
