Although widely recognised as a valuable tool in supporting research into legal doctrine, legislation, and case law, the uncritical and unregulated use of AI within the courts has raised concerns regarding public confidence in the application of Law and Justice.

On 20 May, from 11:00 a.m., different perspectives and professional experiences will be brought into discussion, reflecting on the current challenges and presenting proposals for the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in the service of Law and Justice.

The session will be led by the President of the General Council of the Portuguese Bar Association, António Jaime Martins, and by the Vice-President of the General Council of the Portuguese Bar Association, Ana de Sá Pereira.
