This activity took place on December 14 at the Law School of the University of Minho, with the presence of 28 students and 2 teachers of the Grouping of Schools of Arga e Lima, with the following main objectives
1. To make known JusGov and the work that has been developed by its researchers, highlighting
– the contribution to the advancement of knowledge, the practical relevance for policy makers, legal professionals, companies, etc;
– the relevant role of Law to address the challenges of contemporary society, such as those identified in the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, in particular, the promotion of peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, the achievement of gender equality, the fostering of access to justice for all and the building of effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
2. Contribute to the scientific initiation of new researchers.

This conversation began with the presentation of JusGov, its research groups and the School of Researchers, and then the work developed by Ana Rita Fernandes Monteiro, student of the Law degree under the UMinho Award for Initiation in Scientific Research, integrated in the eUjust project “European Union Litigation and cross-border debt recovery: understanding the digital solutions in the light of the paradigm of European Electronic Justice” (funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the EU) was presented, also with the participation of the researcher responsible for that project, Prof. Dr. Joana Covel, from the University of Coimbra. Dr. Joana Covelo de Abreu.
