On February 19th at 2:00 PM, the activities of the Portuguese Hub of the European Law Institute will be inaugurated. The Hub is coordinated by Dr. Marta Santos Silva, Auxiliary Researcher at JusGov (Research Centre for Justice and Governance), in collaboration with Professor Dr. Graça Enes (Faculty of Law, University of Porto).

The event will consist of a webinar, the first in the series titled “Law at Lunch.” It will be led by Professor Dr. Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell from the Carlos III University of Madrid. The presentation, delivered in Spanish, will focus on the recently published Interim Report of the European Law Institute on European Consumer Law and Automated Contractual Decisions.

Following the presentation, Professor Sónia Moreira, Associate Professor with Habilitation at the School of Law of the University of Minho and coordinator of the E-TEC (State, Business, and Technology) research group at JusGov, will provide a commentary.
