The Research Centre for Justice and Governance (JusGov), based at the School of Law at the University of Minho, has been awarded an Excelent rating in the provisional results of the 2023/2024 evaluation of the Research and Development (R&D) Units, conducted by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
This recognition reflects the Centre’s strong commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and societal impact in the field of legal research, with a focus on the production of advanced and applied knowledge in Law.
The external evaluation, which covers the period from January 2018 to December 2023 and assesses strategic plans for 2025–2029, aims to strengthen the National Science and Technology System by fostering high-quality research across all areas of knowledge.
