Open class – Use of cadavers, parts, tissues and organs for purposes of teaching and scientific research | May 4th

On May 4th, in the scope of the Human Rights and Biomedicine Course of the Master in Human Rights, an open lecture will be held on “Use of corpses, parts, tissues and organs for teaching and scientific research purposes”.

The lecture will be taught by Professor Duarte Nuno Vieira, Full Professor and Director of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra. He is also the President of the European Council for Legal Medicine, the Consultative Forensic Council of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, the Ibero-American Network of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Sciences Institutions, the Portuguese Association for the Evaluation of Corporal Damage, of Specialists in Assessment and Repair of Bodily Injury and Coordinator of the Competence in Assessment of Corporal Damage of the Order of Physicians.
