International Conference “The protection of human rights in the face of globalized economic crime” | December 9th

Marking the International Day of Human Rights, the International Day against Corruption and also commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the Master’s Degree in Human Rights at the School of Law of University of Minho, the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Human Rights, the Lusophone Observatory of Rights Human Rights and the Direction of that Master Course organize an International Conference dedicated to one of the most pressing issues of our time: “The protection of human rights in the face of globalized economic crime”. The aim of this initiative is to discuss, through the voice of a diverse range of speakers, both national and foreign, the main challenges facing human rights protection when one of the most serious forms of crime is economic activities essential for the development of the human being, and which knows no frontier limitations, before it has a global impact.
