The Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Human Rights, through its research group on private law – phenomena of constitutionalisation, materlalization and socialization, organizes an international colloquium on Contract formation – between the principle of contractual freedom and the prohibition of unfair terms in the next September 29, 2015 at the Law School of the University of Minho.

The colloquium proposes to revisit the general categories of private law and to relate them to specific contracts, such as the interest rate swap contract and the insurance contract. The works will be attended by Professor Carlos Lasarte Álvarez, from the National University of Distance Education (Madrid), and a group of distinguished professors and researchers from the Universities of Coimbra, Porto and Minho, the Portuguese Catholic University and the University of Vigo.
