Filipe Venade has just been awarded with an Honourable Mention at the “António Dornelas Prize”, as a reflection of the quality of the researcher’s doctoral dissertation.
This annual prize was launched in 2017 and awarded by the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, aiming to reward scientific or technical studies, developed by students, researchers and professors, in the areas of work, employment, vocational training and labour relations, social security and inclusion of people with disabilities.
The prize also came with the aim of honouring professor António Dornelas, sociologist, specialist in labour issues, researcher at the Centre for Research and Sociology Studies, advisor to the President of the Republic for Employment and Social Security and Secretary of State of Employment and Training.
The deadline for submitting applications to the 3rd edition of the prize is the 31st January 2019.
